Fries, Blue Skies, and DIYs

Nolan brings with him a significant amount of business development experience from the software and technology industry, with specialized skills in relationship-building and storytelling.

“I have enjoyed getting to know people for as long as I can remember. The most important part of what I do is listening and building trust. To me, conversations are the foundation to forming a new bond,” says Nolan.

Nolan is a Hokie who graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Marketing and Management. In his spare time, Nolan enjoys getting involved with community programs and reading whenever he gets the chance (he’s currently making his way through George R. R. Martin’s Game of Thrones book series, but has recently finished Atomic Habits, Project Hail Mary, and A History of Wild Places).

When he’s not meeting new people and networking with colleagues, Nolan likes to unwind by:

Cooking for family and friends. (Fun fact, Nolan is an intermittent faster; meaning he doesn’t eat all day until around dinner time. Nolan’s current favorite recipe is Peruvian Chicken with Creamy Green Sauce)

Getting outside and traveling.(Nolan enjoys growing plants and getting his hands dirty while he’s outside. His favorite places to go are Chestnut Ridge Hiking Trail, the pool on hot summer days, or just anywhere with his family. They often vacation at the beach, Asheville, NC, and Disney!)

Being handy and DIY projects.(He recently finished installing the entire floor in his basement – all by himself, he adds. His next project is to tackle restoring his screened-in porch with YouTube and failure as teachers.)
