The Louisiana Lottery Corporation—one of the nation's oldest lotteries—approached Firefli with an incredible opportunity: to lead the digital transformation of one of their key go-to-market channels.
As Firefli’s developers migrated the legacy Louisiana Lottery site into the WordPress system, our web strategists and designers started to reimagine both the functionality and the user experience for the site’s next iteration. The end result was a mobile-first platform built with rigorous accessibility standards, advanced third-party integrations with systems like Intralot and GetResponse, and several new features that improved usability for users and site administrators alike. Our work touched nearly every area of the business—from marketing and communications to product, IT, sales, and security—ensuring cross-functional alignment and compliance at every step.
A 24/7 monitoring system for data flows. A “Find Your Perfect Game” customer shopping quiz. A login-gated player profile area with preference management. Custom-built tools like a ticket checker that really scans. These were just a few highlights from the reimagined website—and we were just getting started.
One of the most impactful elements was designing and developing the entire second-chance promotion functionality from scratch, a game-changing capability for the Lottery. To keep operations efficient, Firefli also automated game asset management within the CMS, making it just as easy for internal teams to update and sync content as it was for customers to use the website.
