Firefli is currently seeking a uniquely qualified individual to be our Creative Production Lead. This position will collaborate with the Firefli Strategy team to execute a variety of creative projects for multiple clients.

Join the Team!

As Creative Production Lead, you will serve as the conduit from strategic planning to creative execution. You will leverage excellent organizational skills, customized processes, and clear communication to ensure that creative work (video production, content design, traditional design branding, etc.) is done well and on time.

The ideal individual in this position should have experience in strategic brand planning, as well as the ability to translate strategy into a realistic vision for our creative producers. In some instances, the person in this role will be the primary producer on creative projects; whereas with others, he or she will translate strategy into a digestible and organized project vision for creatives (both on our team and outsourcing partners) and manage the project to completion.

There is no expectation for classic “creative direction” in this role, though ample opportunities will be provided for this individual to lead ideation, creative thinking, and development of visual concepts. In short, the Creative Production Lead’s primary objective is to ensure that our creative team is well prepared, equipped, and successful.

Responsibilities

  • Combine leadership skills with problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity to shape and develop our clients’ brands and creative output.
  • Lead the development of creative concepts and work with teammates to bring them to life in a variety of executions.
  • Be a consistently positive force within the agency, driving projects forward and showcasing the best of the Creative Production department.
  • Act as the intersection of strategy and creative to ensure that plans are executed as intended.
  • Ensure that our creative producers deliver high-quality, brand-forward assets.
  • Serve as source of truth for creative and design direction.
  • Ensure adherence of brand and creative guidelines.
  • Work alongside Project Manager to coordinate internal and external timelines, allocate resources, and navigate conflicting client priorities.
  • Be the first level of review for creative work and provide feedback to teammates in a clear and concise manner, collating edits and managing refinements. Once ready for higher review, present the work with confidence and humility.
  • Continually strive for improvement of best practices for processes, operations, and culture in the Creative team.
  • Organize, attend and run creative and wider team reviews and acquire relevant approvals/creative sign-offs to ensure the best quality work is delivered.
  • Work closely with the strategy team on briefs, ensuring creatives are supported and have the correct info to respond to briefs.
  • A highly organized, naturally confident communicator – you’ll act as the lynchpin between strategy and creative, ensuring work is allocated correctly, delivered on time, and that all relevant stakeholders are happy with the work.

Role Requirements

  • Be an inspirational creative leader.
  • Proven ability in offering a multi-skilled response to creative briefs.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present creative concepts and general insights in response to Strategic briefs.
  • Ability to successfully build internal and external relationships at all levels.
  • Comfort in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Be confident leading and working as part of a team, with ability to adapt as required.
  • Understand that feedback is part of every project.
  • Communicate ideas clearly to internal and external team members.
  • Enjoy coming to work every day.
  • Be a productive and complementary member of a multi-disciplinary team that explores problems from a variety of perspectives.

Experience/Education Requirements

  • 6-8 years of combined education and experience in creative production, project management, content strategy, content production, and/or professional communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Film, Marketing, or a similar field.
