Get to know Carly York, Production Designer, and Animal Advocate
Carly, our new Production Designer, previously worked with Firefli as an intern from 2018 – 2020 and officially joined the Strategy team in June. In her role, she elevates our clients’ advertising, social media, and marketing strategies with a well-executed design, photography, and video production.
Carly joins the team shortly after graduating from The Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, where she acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising with a concentration in art direction. Her fine arts education shines in how she presents her design thinking to our team and our clients and executes flawlessly.
Adding Carly to the team was a no-brainer after seeing her excel on a variety of projects as an intern at Firefli. She supported the Products team with website production and created a variety of eye-catching designs and animations for the Strategy team.
We were fortunate to have Carly intern with us while she was at SCAD, and we couldn’t be more excited that she ultimately joined the team. She’s immensely talented and has a great work ethic. We’re very lucky to have her. Matthew Sams, Partner and Vice President of Strategy
Like many Fireflies, Carly is a loving dog mom to her mutt, Belushi (yes, after the great John Belushi). When she isn’t in the office, she spends her time traveling across the country and around the world with friends, attending local music festivals, and hitting the gym for rock climbing and yoga.
